On Monday 15 March we On Monday 15 March we started a weekly meeting of the Erasmus + Living Beside the Water project. This is the second meeting of our project of six schools, which this time is organized by our school. At present, of course, this is virtual mobility. At the time of the meeting, 54 participants from six countries joined: from Greece, Lithuania, Italy, Portugal, Spain and from us from Česká Lípa.
One of today’s participants was also the mayor Jitka Volfová, who welcomed the participants of the meeting and officially launched this virtual mobility on behalf of the city of Česká Lípa.
Our Living Beside the Water project focuses on water and its importance for life. We chose the Ploučnice river from Česká Lípa as a water source. During the meeting this week, we will show our partner schools the spring of Ploučnice and its flow, especially the unique meanders, the gorge, the Lipý water castle, and we will also introduce the history of the river to others.
During the joint meetings, we will also introduce the mascots of the individual schools. The Czech mascot is, of course, the waterman, how else?
