The first part of meeting focuses on information about the creation of e-book. Each state will form one chapter, which will discuss the relationship of certain water areas in the European context. We will deal with the water area from the perspective of history, ecology, water transport, etc. The e-book will be presented at a meeting in Italy in the spring of 2022.
The next part of the meeting was focused on the water factor in Lithuania. Important pieces of information about the lakes and rivers in this state were reminded. The water areas here are used for scuba diving, diving, yachting, kayaking and boat transport. To verify our attention, the Lithuanians have prepared a repeating quiz for us in the Kahoot application. We all had a great time and there was a wonderful atmosphere.
The last part of our meeting focused on important and interesting areas and facts about Lithuania. The capital Vilnius is a famous UNESCO World Heritage Site. Pažaislis monastery is the dominant monument, Trakai castle or sand dunes in the north of the country are interesting as well. People love local beers, cakes known as “Raguolis” or sweet gingerbread in the shape of mushrooms (“Grybukai”). Basketball is sport number one in Lithuania. Finally, the Lithuanians introduced the longest Lithuanian word and prepared a task for us for Friday’s meeting
