Second online meeting of Erasmus+ Living Beside the Water took place on 16th March and it was very successful. All the teams represented their mascot dolls. Pupils commented the presentations and videos they had worked so hard on.
Most of mascot dolls were somehow connected with water and local culture /area children live in. They had used different materials: wood, cloth, cardboard, polystyrene, but also the latest technology.
Children explained why they had made their mascot dolls, what they had used for them and showed the production process.
We saw different approaches and methods. Children really did a great job. They had sewed, drew, painted, used various materials. We could see animals as mascot dolls- eg. Portugal, Italy, and Greece. Some children had used their imagination and had designed their own mascot doll- Spain. There was also one symbolizing the connection of two local rivers- Lithuania.
Children from all the countries did their best, their presentation and the final forms of mascot dolls were admirable. Thank you very much.
