In October we visited the townhall and the mayor Mrs. Volfova to introduce our partner project Living beside the water in which our school takes part this school year. The project is implemented by the Erasmus+ program and six European schools are taking part in it (schools from Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, the Czech Republic and Lithuania).

The pupils and teachers from these schools will be meeting at partner schools and there participate in ventures that the host school will prepare. Most of these activites will focus on water, water management and a life around water.

The pupils from the Primary school of Dr. Miroslav Tyrš will travel to the first meeting in November when they will visit the Greek city Ioannina situated in northern Greece.

In March 2020 we will welcome all the partner schools´ pupils here and we will prepare our own program for them. The schedule will also include meeting with the town´s leaders and the mayor that expressed her fondness and support of our project.
